We classified DIShonesties into a few categories and each lawyer in the list is getting at least one assigned. The list of categories is not static, feel free to let us know if you can think of a one that we don’t have yet by sending an email to [email protected]
Unresponsive – not always returning calls or emails or takes forever to get a reply, never or rarely picks up the phone etc.
Unreliable – takes the case but then stops working on it for no apparent reason, doesn’t stand behind what was done or decisions/choices he/she advised to make.
Foul-Up – making too many mistakes either in the documents/letters or in the court room.
Rude – in letters, emails, on the phone or in the court room to customers, opponents or other lawyers.
Cronyist – defends relatives or family members and does things that he/she would not do for another customer or does things in favor of relatives or family members while defending somebody else.
Nepotist – defends friends, ex. business partners, protégé, mentors etc. and does things that he/she would not do for another customer or does things in favor of friends , ex. business partners, protégé, mentors etc. while defending somebody else.
